Les Beaujolais primeurs Beaujolais Nouveau Rosé Les Griottes

Beaujolais Nouveau rosé is a rare and little-known wine, with a beautiful freshness and a delicate light pink color.

Personality of the cuvee

We never make a rosé by bleeding (that is to say, drawing the juice off a vat of red Beaujolais to make it more concentrated) but always vinify his as a wine in its own right. We decided to make Beaujolais Nouveau rosé in October 2011 after one of our customers asked us to.

From the vine to the glass

This wine comes from one hectare of Gamay in Bois d'Oingt which produces all of our rosé. Siliceous-clay soil giving light and fruity wines. Guyot pruning.
Sustainable agriculture, manual harvest,
Vinification: ull-fledged vintage obtained by direct pressing just after picking. No yeasting, no chaptalization, minimum SO2.
